Predictive energy management strategy for battery energy storage considering battery degradation cost

This study proposes a novel predictive energy management strategy to integrate the battery storage (BES) degradation cost into BES scheduling problem and address uncertainty in problem. As first step, factors affecting calendar aging cycle are linearly modelled. Furthermore, linear algorithm is provided calculate due complete incomplete cycles. Subsequently, approach estimating function according specifications process presented. Finally, taking account model, proposed framework implemented on an integrated photovoltaic system evaluate applicability efficiency of scheme integrating The numerical simulation results indicate that significantly affects charge/discharge strategy. Moreover, comparing with simple one, it verified could decrease capacity fade by 5.06% 4.67%, respectively, increase farm profit 1.10%.
